Who is Pepperbox?
Pepperbox is a completely inclusive theatre experience working with neuro diverse community, children/youth, adults. At Pepperbox I believe that everyone deserves the chance to take the stage and be a star. Pepperbox not only thinks outside the box but takes that box to recycling... no box, no boundaries, no limits! As a Director, Writer, Performer, and Teacher for over 25 yrs, I have never paid much attention to what people can’t do. My focus has always been on what they can do. In my career, it has been my privilege to encourage and witness my actors discover their personal power and unique gifts. My joy comes from watching other's find theirs.

CHANDRA PEPPER
Chandra is an accomplished actress, director, writer and teacher working in and around Southern Ontario. She has spent much of her career using theatre as a way to connect, empower, and give safe space to people so they can discover their true power. Chandra is passionate about allowing everyone their time in the spotlight no matter of age, abilities, or experience. If you were to ask any of her former students/actors they would let you know that the word "CAN'T" is not allowed on her stage or in her classroom. Nothing is impossible if you are creative and compassionate and patient enough to find the solution.
What do we do?
Pepperbox Theatre offers a variety of programs and original productions tailored to meet the collective and individual needs of the actors involved.
Why do we do it?
As beliefs change, the world changes… Pepperbox Theatre encourages and nurtures people to find their strengths and talents in a supportive fun environment. We do not believe in "DIS' (a Latin prefix meaning apart) commonly seen in words like disability, disaffirm, disbelief, discontent and dishearten. We do BELIEVE in ability, affirmation, belief, contentment and heart. Our deep passion and belief is that no matter what age, ability or circumstance, everyone should be included.
